Very few times in one’s life has there been an individual that has had such a profound impact on how we think; not just about technology, but about life. I am a tremendously passionate person. I wake up every morning with a deep burning desire to inspire others to reach their true potential and to live in the moment. Albert Einstein argued that, “there are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll break others’ hearts. You’ll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you’ll cry because time is flying by and you regret not doing more. So start taking too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and “don’t waste time living someone else’s life.” Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, and do what you love. Steve Jobs said it best, “If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.
Josh Linkner wrote a great blog post, 11 Lessons From Steve, and notes that “the impact of Steve Jobs is far greater than the devices he’s provided.  Rather, he’s given us a model to reach our full potential.” I couldn’t agree more. Steve Job’s greatness comes from being genuine, meaningful and different.

Let us all, keep pushing. Keep innovating. Keep believing.

Mr. Jobs, thank you for changing the world. May you rest in peace.
